Adults who feel greater levels of gratitude are more likely to have increased feelings of wellbeing; higher levels of happiness and lower levels of depression and stress (1).

Regularly expressing what you are grateful has been shown to boost psychological wellbeing. Positive effects from just one expression of gratitude have been shown to last for up to 2 months (2).
